Next Saturday, Oct. 6, Ludacris, Terry Kennedy (skater boy beefin’ with Lupe on Beef IV) and some other skater dude will be in Dewitt Clinton park in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC renewing the place with 100 volunteers from Boost Mobile. Later on, he’s gonna do a lil 5000-people concert hosted by Nick Cannon. So if you in NY and see Luda cleanin a park, he’s not doin community service and he didn’t go broke! lol
I’ve read this article a few days ago about what Timbaland had to say about Jay’s new project and basically what I had thought about this album bein a sput-of-the-moment type of thing, is pretty much true. I think he Jay woke up and said “fuck it, why not?”
(I just had to post this cuz of all the burn Kanye been gettin’ on221 cuz of SNL, lol)
Timbo says:
“He wants me to do the next single…He just does it for fun. We talked about [his next album]. He says it’s just a hobby, ain’t nothing else to do. When a person tells you that, what you supposed to say? ‘You crazy’? He said, ‘I don’t wait for nothing. I’m there. I’m doing it for the love of music.’ What am I supposed to say? ‘You wack for doing it’? … That’s another thing: It could hurt him or it could make him be not the legend he is. That’s the only thing I’m scared of for my friend.”MissInfo questions the idea of Jay-Z’s involvement with American Gangster as a “spontaneous whim” and leaves it at that. The actual details of how Jay-Z’s album came about will probably never be revealed but I like the idea of this being a spontaneous project. I think part of the problem with Kingdom Come is that it all seemed so calculated it was hard to appreciate.
He came back out and did “Champion” then did “Everything I Am” and f*cked up some words then just started freestylin’ which was aight..made sense, for the most part..All in all it was a good performance.
Kanye did Saturday Night Live tonight/last night with LeBron James and he kinda did hid thing. He did “Stronger” and then went into “Good Life,” without Teddy, but had an orchestra and back-up singers and everything. Very robotic though…like he was striking poses and all that. When he came out, he was wearing a charcoal colored jacket with blue glow-in-the-dark piping on it. Being extra, he switched glasses and posed a lil more.

Sorry, the video will be up no later than Monday!! Until then, peep this…
Kanye with Justin Timberlake and did “Stronger” on Sept. 16 in LA
Not brand spankin’ new but here’s R. Kelly feat. Ludacris and Kid Rock with “Rockstar” off of Kells’ latest “Double Up.” This was directed by the same guy who did “Same Girl.” Not sure how I feel about this one. Luda kills it a lil something..but R. Kelly man…I’ll post my opinion at a later time…
Robbie Nova will be performing at Club Fahrenheit in New York City on Sunday, Oct. 7!! Bad Boy Records’ Cherri Dennis will also be there performing her new single “Portrait of Love” featuring Young Joc and Gorilla Zoe. I’m sure it’ll be fire! Nova may perform his latest song called “I’m Sick.” HE AINT SEND ME THE MP3 YET!! So the only way to hear it is his Myspace Page. Click and enjoy. When Nova sends it, I’ll put it up. Show my dude some love.
This is (allegedly) the “American Gangster” album cover for Hov’s new album. It hasn’t got pushed back yet, so its still droppin on Nov. 6. ALSO, They shot a video for “Blue Magic” already and that should be out in a few weeks. Conceited as Pharrell only got pics on himself in a drop with a chick next to him. By hopes for the video to be 80’s crack themed are pretty much a “I-wish-they-woulda” situation now, cuz he looked like he was in some modern BBC sh*t. Anyway, You’ll get the exclusives as they come out. Look out for that “No Hook” comin’ soon!
His new show is supposed to be about teens in a performing arts school in New York. He’s pretty much a consultant more or less. From what I understand it must be a good show because the guy who produces the new NBC show “Chuck,” some guy named McG, is doing this show.
Also, there was a mean bidding war over the show between the network channels, but ABC evebtually got it. The show faces big-money fines if they don’t follow through with the show.
I think it might be a good look for him. He was in the same situation (Performing Arts School), so who knows. He’s creative even though Beanie says he gay. LoL but you can’t knock his talent. Holla
Trey Songz feat. R. Kelly - “Grub On” Listen or Download here. I’m sure this is on “Trey Day” droppin Oct. 20. I actually have the album already, I just ain’t listen to it.
Written, produced, featuring, and all verses by R. Kelly. lol Now you KNOW when Kells does a song for/with somebody.
Karrine “Superhead” Steffans is on the Power 92 right now talkin to Russ Parr and them and she just said that on the November issue of Vibe, Lil Wayne, whom is on the cover, professes his “undying love” for her. She said she’s stuck because she doesn’t want to hurt Wayne. She’s getting pimped married in LA to some dude. She aint namin’ names on who her fiancee is, probably cuz she don’t wanna embarrass him. I’ll have the audio when it’s availible.
“While Trina was tellin Wayne ‘I love you boo,’
She was just runnin’ game. She told buck that too”
