The Re-Up Gang Rollers were in Atlanta’s V103 poiliticing with Greg Street and also put down a freestyle. Speaking of VA, I was at the N.E.R.D. concert at the newly renovated National. Shouts to the homey Skillz for showing love. Pics and review to come.

It was announced a few days ago that T.I.P. would be granted a few hours off of house arrest to attend Easter service. Read Full Story.
Among those attending and invited to sit on stage in the VIP section was rapper “T.I.”, whose real name is Clifford Harris. Still facing trial on federal machine gun charges, Harris was allowed this one time exception to his confinement under house arrest.
He drew applause and some friendly laughter when he spoke about his purpose for observing Easter. “We’re here to celebrate the death of our Lord and Savior,” Harris said, “he was willing to give his life for us so that we may ask for forgiveness for our sins and be forgiven and saved…no matter how many times we have to ask…or how long it takes to get it right.”
This video claims Fat Joe netted $50k in profit from the first week’s sales of “Elephant in the Room.” It also claims that Interscope lost over $22 million due to “Curtis’” failure. If these claims are true it’s pretty bad for both artists. I had this conversation with G earlier–who put me on to this–and if Koch supposedly gives out $7 a record, Fat Joe should have made well over $300k. If he net $50k, that means he spent over $250k on marketing and promotion. Does that sound accurate to anyone? And if Interscope lost over $22 Million, expect more promo on thisis50.com because they will definitely cut back the promo dollars for 50 and G-Unit’s next albums.
FYI: I knew that the footage from “The Funeral” of 50 Cent crying would be used against him.
