Remy Ma Found Guilty

After pleading not guilty in the shooting of one-time friend, Makeda Barnes-Jones, Reminisce “Remy Ma” Smith was found guilty of four charges related to the shooting this morning in a New York court. Her defense failed to convince the jury that the shooting was an accident and found Remy guilty of two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon. She now faces up to 25 years in prison.
Just as a sidebar comment…Jones’ friends and family taunted Remy and when the verdict was read, all hell broke loose.

T.I. to Enter Plea Deal

It has been reported that Clifford “T.I.” Harris’ deal is supposed to be finalized today but has yet to come to fruition at this time. The deal is that T.I.–who originally plead guilty–is to serve 1,500 hours of community service speaking to youth groups throughout the country, followed by 12 months of jail time. The jail time can be increased or decreased depending on how well he sticks with the deal and good behavior.
