Jay-Z blamed for slow Gladstonbury ticket sales

Jay-Z is to headline the three-day Gladstonbury concert event in Somerset, England but may have been a poor choice due to slow ticket sales this past weekend.
Jay was said to have made the show more “urban and hip” but his name as headliner didn’t manage to sell out the £155 ($333)-tickets in the past record time of two hours. A source told The Sun, “He feels it’s a bit sad and he’s being used to make a point. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when he was blamed for the lower registration for tickets and subsequent sales.”
No pun intended on the “straw-that-broke-the-camel’s-back” line. The festival is still on for June 27 to June 28 with Jay performing June 28.
This will surely be brushed off his shoulders as he has other monumental things going on such as his $150 million deal with Live Nation and rumors of tying the knot.
