Pointless post but I found this kinda funny. This kid is really mad at the Unit. A New Jersey resident posted an ad on Craigslist, April 3, selling off 28 G-Unit CDs for a steal at $50, or your best offer. That comes out to under $2 a CD, which I’m sure he paid no less than $5 for from his local bootlegger. That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me. Continue for full list of CDs.
Seller says: “I have all of these G-Unit CDs for sale. I’m no longer a G-Unit fan. I can deliver or you can pick up. There all in good condition, and no scraches. Selling for $50 OR YOUR BEST OFFER.“
The developers of TAG men’s body spray, Proctor and Gamble, have joined forces with Def Jam to form TAG Records and named Jermaine Dupri as president.
TAG hopes to reach the urban market and give a chance to aspiring hip-hop artist while having those artists promote TAG through a “multimillion-dollar campaign, including television, print, radio, computer and event marketing.”
“This label is going to provide new artists with a chance of a lifetime. New artists will receive 10 times the typical marketing support - a first in the industry,” Dupri said in a press release. “I’m hand-selecting and molding these artists to make history in hip hop.”
Does that mean we should expect to see more Lil Bow Wows and Dem Franchise Boyzs all over television spraying themselves with aerosol cans of smell-good? We’ll find out in May when the first TAG Records artist is announced.
Though, TAG has pertnered with reality shows such as “America’s Next Top Model” and “Survivor,” this is Proctor and Gamble’s first dip into the music industry. Alternative marketing may become more common these days in the music industry with TAG Records and Jay-Z’s deal with Live Nation.
