Of all the directors in Hollywood, Tarentino has to be among one of my favorite, envelope pushers. A movie with such gestalt (look it up) as “Pulp Fiction” deserves admiration. Since I have a platform to do such, I will.
I was young as hell when this movie came out and remember seeing it on VHS. I didn’t understand a damn thing that was going on but I still liked it. Samuel L. Jackson is captivating. This was one of the best wigs he’s wore in a movie, too. “Unbreakable,” “Jumpers,” and even “Star Wars” where he rocked the baldy, were all awful attempts at diversifying a man whose movies grossed the most money of all time.
Appreciate this scene and see SLJ at his best. You’ll be quoting it all week. I saw it over 10 years ago and I’m still quoting it. Then again, I watch this movie a lot.
