As the saying goes, “you’re nobody ’til somebody kills you.” The death of an artist makes you pay attention to their work. Heath Ledger’s too-convincing role as The Joker in “The Dark Knight” may be his last but his Oscar-buzz-worthy performance is an amazing mark he left in entertainment.
The sequel to “Batman Begin” picks up where it left off in the corrupt fictional city of Gotham. Batman is still fighting the good fight against mobsters and crooked cops alongside Lieutenant Gordon in an effort to clean up the streets and political system.
Now, I can go on and on about how great the plot was with twists and depth but it’s hard not to focus on Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker. Read the rest of this entry »
