Uncle Murda feat. Jay-Z - Fat Joe Diss (Produced by Pharrell)
There was a bulletin on thisisBeforeISelfDestruct.com that Kay Slay had a major diss record to play on Hot 97. Being in VA, at the moment, I knew that it wasn’t possible for me to hear it so their ploy to get me back to their website worked and I got this for y’all.
It’s an untitled –at least I don’t know the official title– Uncle Murda track produced by Pharell that features Jay-Z jabbing Fat Joe. I mean, he name-drops and everything. He also pokes at Khaled a little and the whole Terror Squad. It would be an interesting turn of events if Jay was really talking about Joe Budden.
Now, we know that a rapper of Jay-Z’s caliber can end a career fairly quickly, so I’m interested to see where this is going and where it came from. Stay tuned, folks.
UPDATE: Here’s what Just Blaze has to say:
“So for some reason people think this “new” Jay/Uncle Murda thing is a Fat Joe Khaled dis. It’s not. really..It’s also like 8000 years old and somehow dude got his hands on it and put a verse on it. Now that I recall, it’s Blueprint 2 era..I was going to use this verse for the S.Carter Remix CD but we couldn’t get the Pro Tools in time.“

I was actually with Hov in the studio when this was recorded, he only did a verse, we found the track in Sept. Hov and Uncle Murda just finished it. That’s all, no beef. Guru and Just Blaze can say the same.

Yo that’s crazy Farocious because I was actually in the studio too the day that Jay made this track. He was giving me daps while spitting and all that. He shouted me out at the end but they edited it out …..

Yo, I think Jay made this joint around the time Joe made some slick comments about J when he went to Africa on that water crises stuff and then when he called 50 and J uncle toms. Joe can’t really battle rap so I don’t think he will even attempt to respond…

LOL at Holla’s first comment. But you never know…he could have been there. Nova and them be in the studio with Juelz all the time. But I’m doubting Joe is gonna respond. There’s no point. He’ll end up where Cam’ron is now. They actually played a Cam track the night they played this record. But still, beefin’ with the wrong people ends careers.
