Remy Ma Found Guilty

After pleading not guilty in the shooting of one-time friend, Makeda Barnes-Jones, Reminisce “Remy Ma” Smith was found guilty of four charges related to the shooting this morning in a New York court. Her defense failed to convince the jury that the shooting was an accident and found Remy guilty of two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon. She now faces up to 25 years in prison.
Just as a sidebar comment…Jones’ friends and family taunted Remy and when the verdict was read, all hell broke loose.

Fat Joe Tells His Side of the Story on Hot 97

There are three sides to all stories. In this case, it’s Joe’s side, Pap’s side, and the truth. Somewhere between the sides, you’ll find the truth. Anyway, a day after Pap’s radio call-in to Big Von, Joe does the same and gives his account to what happened. He took it a step further and called Hot 97 while Ms. Jones was on. He explains how he gave Pap and company “the beats” after he got a little reckless with Jonesie. Cassidy speaks on it also and clears up the rumor about him setting Pap up. I’m about two posts away from losing interest in this beef.

First off, LOL at the photoshopped pic via thisisFif. Pap goes from being the-dude-who-got-snuffed to the-dude-who-does-the-snuffing as he takes down an “elephant in his room.”
Fat Joe denies being snuffed: “No disrespect to Pap, but honestly picture Papoose knocking Fat Joe out! Get the F–k out of here!”

On Thursday February 28, 2008 Rapper 50 Cent was hosting New York City Radio and had Invited several rappers to join him on the show including Max B, Papoose and Remy Ma. While 50 Cent was interviewing Max B, Papoose walked into the studio. When Max B went to say “what’s up” to him and give him a pound, that’s when Papoose told him, “put your hand away. What’s up with that slick shit you was saying about Kay Slay on the internet?” Before Max B could reply, Papoose went to approach him, but fortunately 50 Cent was able to get in the middle of the two rappers and separate them. (Video) [Quick Observation: Max B ain't say a word until Pap was taken outta the room. Also, they were in the "I Get Gully" video a few month ago. Now, it's beef. Welcome to the hood, right?]
On Friday Feb 29 in North Corolina Papoose, Cassidy, Fat Joe, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti,and Fabolous were booked to perform at The Criquet Arena. Before the show could go on, the Main Event happened earlier at The Holiday Inn Hotel in North Carolina, where the rappers had been staying at. Sources from Cassidy’s crew tell us that Cassidy had asked Papoose to come to his room so they could talk. Papoose eventually came to his room and while the two rappers were talking, all of the sudden Fat Joe and 9 Members of his Entourage storm right into Cassidy’s room. Fat Joe suddenly starts yelling at Papoose, “You Got A Problem With Me?” and Papoose replied, “No, do you have a problem?” When Fat Joe responds ” yeah, I got a problem with you,” thats when Papoose swung at Fat Joe, punching him in the face twice. Before you knew it all hell broke loose. Sources tell us that Fat Joe and his crew rushed the rapper and Hotel security had to seperate the fight before Law Enforcement could get to the Hotel.
